The Third Voluntary National Review (VNR) 2024 Quality Assurance Retreat, held from May 15-17, 2024, in Entebbe, focused on finalizing Uganda’s VNR Report for the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF). Organized by the National SDG Secretariat with UNDP support, the retreat involved representatives from government, civil society, academia, and the private sector. It included intensive group work to refine the report, integrating diverse feedback. Key outcomes included the completion of the VNR Report, preparation for HLPF presentations, and an action plan for final report stages. Dr. Albert Byamugisha highlighted the collaborative efforts and the importance of the retreat in showcasing Uganda’s SDG progress.
